A Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Raju has been in private practice since 2003. She has clinical expertise in the treatment of many psychiatric disorders, including but not limited to Major Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Bipolar Disorders, ADHD, OCD, Eating Disorders, PTSD, and Schizophrenia.
Dr. Raju received her B.S. from Mississippi College in 1990, and her D.O. at the University of Osteopathic Medicine & Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa in 1994. After completing her first year of Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Iowa/ Iowa Methodist Medical Center, she went on to complete her Psychiatry Residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Raju served as Chief Resident and was awarded "Outstanding Resident of the Year" in her final year of Residency in 1999 at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX.
Dr. Raju served as Medical Director for the Altshuler Clinic of Dallas Metrocare Services before pursuing private practice. She is currently Co-President of the Dallas Area Women Psychiatrists organization.
